About Andrew

Andrew’s early spiritual formation and conversion to the Christian way was through the ministry of The Salvation Army, whom he worked with as an ordained and commissioned Salvation Army Officer in Glasgow, Bristol, Wick and Aberdeen. He was in leadership at Trinity Church in Gosforth, a Methodist/URC partnership church in Newcastle upon Tyne, from 2010 – 2015.

Andrew is also a trained spiritual director and enjoys leading retreats, spiritual days, teaching and training in mission and evangelism and more.  He holds an MA in Mission (Celtic Spirituality and Mission) from Cliff College (University of Manchester).

He loves all manner of things: Scottish gaelic and Scotland in general; shape note singing; contemplative and celtic spirituality; new monasticism and can knit a mean scarf.
