Its alarming how quickly things can change. We are three years out of Scotland now. I was watching a programme on BBC Scotland the other day (via sattelite) and it was followed by the BBC national news. Now, by this time I had forgotten I was still on BBC Scotland so ended up watching ‘Reporting … More Whooosh!
In case you didn’t know…the Officers Covenant: MY COVENANT CALLED BY GOD to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as an officer of The Salvation Army, I BIND MYSELF TO HIM IN THIS SOLEMN COVENANT: to love and serve him supremely all my days, to live to win souls and make … More Officers Covenant
I’m impressed. I felt in my spirit that I should share the prophetic word below with the General…so I did. Its not something I normally do, or have ever done. I didn’t for a minute guess that he’d reply, but he did (within 24 hours) in spite of the fact that he is out of … More Impressed

Preach God’s love but leave out His holiness and justice. That way they’ll think He’ll let them into heaven no matter what. Don’t mention repentance until they’re … More How to botch up your preaching…
I’ve just been printing off the last two years worth of blogging to stick in my ‘Continuing Development Portfolio.’ For the first five years of officership, until you rFive Year Review (after which they keep you on or sack you) you have to have a personal development plan thingy.
